Well, it's almost December.  Actually, it's December tomorrow.  It's time chestnuts roasting over open fires and yuletide carols sung by a choir.  Santa Claus is coming to town and Rudolph just might be used for Santa's sleigh again this year. When it's cold outside, stay warm indoors and relax, listening to some smooth jazz or cuddled with your loved ones under a blanket and drink hot chocolate.  I do that with my family every now and then...  Well, drinking hot chocolate anyway.  We don't usually cuddle together unless we're watching a movie but that's besides the point.

It makes you feel warm and happy inside right?  What else can bring such nostalgiic memories and warm get togethers or makes you feel safe?  Maybe looking at those photos a long time ago and comparing people including yourself from back then to now and maybe other times in between.  It can also be videos, maybe just looking into the dancing fire of the fireplace retelling the stories of the old and new, the gossips of the latest news which makes you feel excitement and a slight rush but makes you also feel glad you are having a pep talk or something of the kind with your friends or family.  Maybe it can be a drawing or painting or some kind of magical art whether it be at the top proffessional painting you have ever seen or a child-like drawing that might show you meeting old St. Nick or opening presents near your scribbled Christmas tree with ornaments of rainbow colors on them.  Or maybe, its when you are about to go to sleep and you have your stuff animal with you.  I love my panda stuff animal which is as soft as a pillow and large enough for me to wrap my arms around and snuggle into its woolen black and white fur and look at its gleaming, brown eyes.  

What's my point?  Take your time to enjoy your childhood and don't grow up to fast.  Be responsible when you know you should be but also enjoy the time you have spent as a kid.  Don't let your time whether as a teenager, a preteen, a kid or even an adult, be wasted.  Have fun but know your responsibilities and don't make any regrets.  Now we might not be able to change the past but we can change our future.

Hehe, how many times have you heard that?  I'm not kidding though.  We need to be happy for what we have now and enjoy it while it lasts.  We all know how the governments of different countries are in deep crisis economically and most likely politically as well.  When the holidays come, forget about it for just that speacial day you celebrate and be happy.  Never be ignorant to what's going on in the world but do your best with what we have today.
